No early fix for Dreamliner problem
United Airlines said this week it expected to keep its Boeing 787 Dreamliners out of service until the end of March.
Boeing is currently working to fix a battery problem that has kept the aircraft grounded worldwide.
United, the only US airline that operates Boeing 787 aircraft, said it was scheduling alternate planes through March 30 while its seven Dreamliners remained grounded.
“We will make further adjustments in the future as we gain more visibility on the question of when service will be restored,” Christen David, a spokesman for United, told AFP.
