Numbers add up to creative packages

Wednesday, 30 Jul, 2009 0

What’s in a number? Some creative hotel marketing, namely:

Bermuda’s only ultra-casual resort, is wild for 9’s and in celebration of 9/9/09, is offering special savings to guests who stay 9 nights in one of 9 Beaches cabanas. Prices start at $99 per person per night in the Coco Coral cabanas this fall.

In Mayo, Ireland, Ashford Castle is offering a “1939: What A Year” package. Its cost is €1939 (approximately $2,756), available from now through next December 22.

Ashford Castle’s new “What a Year” program includes three nights in a lake view Deluxe Room with a complimentary upgrade to a Junior Suite, breakfast for two each morning, one table d’hôte dinner for two in the castle’s George V dining room, and various other perks including falconry lessons and a boat trip.

The “9’s are Wild” program in Bermuda can also be combined with other value-added packages.

These can include water sports add-on, a family fun package, a romantic getaway special or make an all-inclusive.

All rates are subject to 7.25 percent government tax and 15 percent gratuity. Offers include various stipulations.
