Online agents to sell Silverjet flights
All business class carrier Silverjet has secured distribution through six key online travel agents.
The UK airline which operates between Luton and Newark will have its tickets sold by lastminute.com, Travelocity, Expedia, Ebookers, Opodo and Airline Network.
The extended online booking capability is expected to drive additional leisure passengers as they upgrade to business class over the summer, according to the airline.
Head of UK sales Tim Buckman said: “The online market represents a significant share of the London to New York route and we are delighted to be working with these online partners.
“We believe that our opening price point of £999 return coupled with the superior travel experience we offer will encourage many leisure customers planning a trip to New York to upgrade to Silverjet this summer.”
