Opodo appoints commercial director
Karen Richardson has been appointed to the new post of commercial director at Opodo, with responsibility for sales and marketing.
Ms Richardson was most recently customer service and operations director at ITV Digital and has also worked at British Airways for over 18 years in a variety of roles including the post of senior manager relationship marketing.
Her appointment follows the departure of Opodo marketing director Nicolas De Santis at the end of 2002.
Last week, Opodo announced two new appointments: ex-BA director Carl Michel as head of product strategy, and Richard Hadfield as UK country manager.
