Pacific Sky tragedy in Penang
AN Australian woman has been killed in a jet ski accident in Malaysia during a cruise ship stopover.
The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) today said two other Australian women may have been injured in the incident.
A DFAT spokesman said the dead woman was a passenger on the P&O cruise ship Pacific Sky.
She was jet skiing during a stopover in Penang when the accident happened.
Details were still sketchy, the spokesman said this morning.
“The Australian High Commission in Kuala Lumpur is making inquiries.”
