Parc Astérix set to reopen next month
Parc Astérix is getting ready to welcome guests back to ancient Gaul.
From 9 April 2022, visitors will be able to enjoy the Park’s 47 attractions and shows again, including the long-awaited new Tonnerre 2 Zeus this spring (opening date to be announced).
There will also be a new Gaulish Parade with Asterix, Obelix, Cleopatra, Caesar and all the characters from the Village.
Parc Astérix boasts 42 attractions including seven big thrill attrcations.
The brand new Tonnerre 2 Zeus has a 30m drop, 90° inclined bump, 2 high speed turns, 14 airtimes, 2 inclined bumps, and a tunnel with special effects.
It has a top speed of 90km/h.
Located 35 km north of Paris, Parc Asterix comprises six themed lands: Gaul, the Roman Empire, Ancient Greece, the Vikings, Through Time and Egypt.
The park also offers three hotels.
