Gulf carrier Qatar Airways will open its first dedicated US airport lounge as it shifts operations to the New Terminal One at New York JFK Airport
The airline is set to relocate operations from current home at Terminal 8 to New Terminal One next year.
As part of this, the airline will open a 15,000-square-feet Qatar Airways lounge.
“We look forward to launching operations at JFK Airport’s New Terminal One and welcoming Qatar Airways Business Class passengers to our first-ever exclusive lounge in the US,” said Qatar Airways Group CEO, Badr Mohammed Al-Meer.
“It will provide an enhanced experience at each touchpoint and complement our Business Class travel experience.”
Lounge guests will get direct access to the boarding gate and premium food and drink options.
It will house a relaxation zone, prayer room, kid’s play area and VIP check-in.
