Ready early, Regal Princess adds two May sailings
With the Regal Princess ready two weeks ahead of schedule, Princess Cruises has moved up her maiden voyage to May 20 and added two more sailings to her 2014 schedule.
Passengers who had previously booked what they thought would be the Regal Princess’ maiden voyage need not be disappointed; they will automatically receive a duplicate booking on the new May 20 maiden voyage.
They will have until November 15, 2013, to decide if they want to take the new cruise instead of, or in addition to, their existing reservation.
The new seven-day maiden voyage will cruise from Venice to Athens, including stops in Corfu, Mykonos and an overnight call in Istanbul.
Those looking for a grander adventure can stay aboard for the second new cruise, sailing May 27 from Athens to Venice, with calls in Kusadasi (for Ephesus), Santorini, Katakolon (for Olympia) and Dubrovnik.
The Regal Princess, a sister ship to Royal Princess, features a soaring atrium, a glass-bottomed SeaWalk extending 28 feet beyond ship’s edge, private poolside cabanas, and a dedicated pastry shop.
The Regal Princess will head to Fort Lauderdale in October, 2014, and spend the winter cruising the Caribbean.
