Rendezvous Hotel Christchurch will re-open next week.

To mark the occasion, the hotel has put together a series of special offers until May 1 being posted daily online at http://www.rendezvoushotels.com/christchurch

Then, for the first month, until June 1, guests will receive 10% off the best available rate every day of the week, including free internet and free local calls.

Until December 31, guests who stay two nights will save 20% off the best available rate, and 25% off the best available rate when they stay three nights. (subject to availability).

The hotel is reopening more than two years after a series of earthquakes across Christchurch caused structural damage to the hotel.

The hotel had hoped to reopen on March 1 last year, however, the property’s owners postponed the return after engineers insisted on further checks to ensure the quakes had not compromised the structural integrity of the building.

In more good news for Christchurch, Air New Zealand announced this week that it will launch flights between the South Island city and Perth in Western Australia.
