Robin Hood outlines ambitious targets
Robin Hood Doncaster Sheffield is on target to fly 800,000 passengers from the airport by the end of the year after welcoming its 250,000th traveller.
After launching operations just 14 weeks ago, managing director David Ryall described the achievement as “unprecedented.”
“To hit this target so quickly is a fantastic achievement,” he said.
Ryall said the airport was targeting 1.3 million passengers in its first full year of operation in 2006.
Flights began at Robin Hood Airport on April 28 when Thomsonfly launched 11 routes.
