Royal Caribbean drops Labadee calls for another six months
Royal Caribbean has announced another series of cancelations to private destination Labadee.
The line is taking no chances, extending the suspension of Haiti calls by a further six months.
It had previously suspended all Labadee calls to October.
The latest round of cancelations impact cruises on eight ships.
These are: Adventure of the Seas, Allure of the Seas. Explorer of the Seas, Independence of the Seas, Jewel of the Seas, Liberty of the Seas, Oasis of the Seas and Symphony of the Seas
The line has informed booked guests via their travel agents.
“We wanted to inform you about some changes to our itinerary. We have been monitoring the evolving situation in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and out of an abundance of caution, we’re canceling our visits to Labadee through end of April 2026,” it said.
“As we are still finalizing our port schedules, you can expect to receive an updated itinerary via email by September 11, 2025.”
Revised itineraries will include sea days instead of Labadee visits or calls at other destinations such as Grand Turk and Cozumel.
