Royal Caribbean senior VP to head Costa coffee chain
Royal Caribbean’s Dominic Paul is to take over as managing director of the Costa coffee shop chain.
Paul, who announced last month that he was leaving Royal Caribbean to take up a non-travel role, will join the Whitbread-owned firm on June 6.
Current MD Chris Rogers, who has been with Costa for more than a decade, will step down from the board on April 20 but he will remain with Costa until July 1 to ensure a smooth handover to Paul.
Paul is presently senior vice president of Royal Caribbean International, where he is responsible for the international business outside of US.
His previous roles include managing director and chief operating officer of BMI and he has also held a number of positions at British Airways, Go Fly and easyJet.
