Ryanair hits headlines over plans for in-flight porn

Tuesday, 11 Nov, 2011 0

Ryanair has been making waves in the international press again this week, this time over its plans to allow access to porn on flights.

The airline says it is looking to develop an in-flight app where passengers can use their ipods or smartphones to access gambling, gaming and pornographic websites on board.

Controversial boss Michael O'Leary has been quoted as saying that if hotels can have it, why can’t airlines.

In reply, Bob Atkinson of Travelsupermarket told the Sun newspaper: "There may be a market for porn in hotels, but that's in the privacy of a room. Anyone could see it on a plane. It's wrong.”

What do you think of Ryanair’s plans? Is this just a publicity stunt? Do you see a market for it? Please email us your thoughts, but please keep them clean!
