Ryanair passengers due to travel urged to check in asap
Ryanair is urging all customers due to travel today and tomorrow to check in online as soon as possible as its website is due to go offline for eight hours.
Both ryanair.com and the airline’s mobile app will close for a systems upgrade at 6.30pm today (Wednesday) until 2.30am on Thursday.
This will mean that Ryanair’s online check-in service will not be available during this time and new bookings or changes to existing flights will not be possible during the web closure.
Ryanair said it had contacted all customers booked to travel today and Thursday by email and SMS text to advise them to check in online before today to avoid the disruption.
Ryanair’s Robin Kiely added: "We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused by this upgrade, which will further improve Ryanair.com, Europe’s largest travel website, as we continue our path to becoming the Amazon of Travel."
