Visit Spain! April ‘s weather is ideal and not much different from the USA’s Mid-Atlantic clime. Barcelona takes six days to behold, where visual beauty, ease for pedestrians, architectural wonders (Gaudi & Picasso) proudly stand, lovely apartment houses with wrought iron balconies abound, flowers are brilliant, the seacoast’s walkways go forever, the ‘hop on hop off’ bus makes tourism easy, and the people are nice. Las Ramblas is the place to start and finish — how fun — mimes, birds & chickens for sale, artists at work, musicians, & people watching or strolling! Museums are user friendly, fresh and cheerful. The beautiful Opera House and other concert halls are always open. Hide your passport and money; then soak up this marvelous city that feels little but alive! Madrid, Seville, Granada, etc. are also marvelous but none can beat Barcelona.
