Sabre launches new cloud-based tools for Asia travel agencies

Friday, 28 Feb, 2024 0

Sabre Corporation is introducing two new cloud-based travel management solutions to travel agents across Asia Pacific.

Developed in partnership with Hong Kong-based Excellent Management Limited (XML), PowerSuite Cloud and PowerSuite Cloud Lite, the tools will accelerate digital transformation and New Distribution Capability (NDC) adoption.

It will enable Asia travel agents of all sizes to automate repetitive tasks and gain real-time business insights.

PowerSuite Cloud  offers a full-scale, front to mid to back-office accounting solution for travel businesses.

PowerSuite Cloud Lite will first be available in Malaysia, Singapore, and Hong Kong before rolling out to the rest of the region.

This version is best suited for smaller agencies, ensuring access to critical financial tools and NDC integration.

More than 8,000 users across 14 markets rely on the existing PowerSuite product.

Both solutions offer full integration with Sabre Red 360, including New Distribution Capability (NDC) bookings.

They both provide advanced automation to reduce manual efforts in mid-to-back-end financial operations, and offer real-time financial insights.

“Just as Sabre is accelerating our own digital transformation with our move to the Cloud, we know our Asia travel agents need to make technological transformations of their own,” said Brett Thorstad, VP of Sabre Travel Solutions, Agency Sales and Airline Distribution, Asia Pacific.

“That’s why we’re thrilled to bring PowerSuite Cloud and PowerSuite Cloud Lite to our agency partners.”
