Sabre launches UK push for holidayandmore.com

Sunday, 05 Oct, 2006 0

Sabre Travel Network has launched a campaign to encourage UK agents to make package holiday bookings through its online dynamic packaging tour operator, holidayandmore.com.

The technology provider aims to boost the number of UK agents using the website by 10-20%.

Through holidayandmore.com, which is owned by lastminute.com, agents can book a range of leisure products including negotiated airfares, specialist travel, and lifestyle products such as spa treatments, hot-air balloon flights and theatre tickets.

Sabre-connected agents who have signed up to holidayandmore.com will also be able to access the website from the MySabre homepage.

More than 500 travel agency customers are already using the site.

A demonstration of the technology is available on Sabre Travel Network’s agency support website, Agency eServices.

Holidayandmore.com has started to use the Sabre system to access GDS content for most of its bookings.

Any dynamically packaged holiday purchased through the company is protected by its ATOL bond.
