Oman based LCC SalamAir is set to launch a new route to Mogadishu, Somalia later this year.
It will fly twice weekly to Aden Adde International Airport from 3 September 2026, marking the first-ever non-stop connection between Oman and the Somali capital.
This new route expands SalamAir’s growing African network.
“Launching the first direct service between Oman and Mogadishu is a strategic milestone and part of our strategy of developing news markets,” said SalamAir CEO Adrian Hamilton-Manns.
“We continue to expand our network in East Africa and expect to add more currently unserved destinations in the near future.”
Somalia becomes the third East African country in the network, joining Kenya and Sudan.
Tickets are on sale with one-way Lite fares from OMR 79.99.
The airline says the schedule is designed to offer convenient connections across the GCC, the Indian Subcontinent, and SalamAir’s expanding Europe network.
