SAS fly into Birmingham
SAS is launching a new route from Birmingham to Stockholm starting from 29 October.
The new service from the Scandinavian airline will run every day apart from Saturday and will use a 120 seater aircraft.
Hans Dyhrfort, SAS regional general manager for the UK, Ireland & Iceland, said: "We are delighted to announce the expansion of our operations from UK’s second largest city – with 8 million people living within 60 minutes of the airport. Birmingham is an important area of development for us.
"We now serve Stockholm directly from London Heathrow, Manchester, Edinburgh (seasonal service) and now Birmingham closing up the geographic gap that we had in the area."
