Sasha Fierce is ready for her Encore
International superstar Beyonce will bring a special engagement of her "I AM…" world tour to Encore at Wynn Las Vegas on July 30 and 31 and August 1 and 2. The performances, specially titled "I AM…YOURS," will be the last chance for fans to catch the singer on her 2009 North American tour. With less than 1,500 seats, the Encore Theater is the smallest venue of Beyonce’s tour and will offer guests a once in a lifetime chance to experience her artistry up close and personal.
The "I AM…YOURS" show will be staged exclusively for the intimate venue at Encore and promises to showcase the artist like never before. Beyonce’s extraordinary, all-female band will join her to perform musical hits, classics and surprises. As part of this occasion, Beyonce’s "I AM…YOURS" performances will be recorded and produced as an exclusive DVD compilation.
Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Saturday, May 9 at 10 a.m. PDT and will be available for purchase by calling 702-770-DIVA (3482). Tickets are $250, $500, $750 and $1,000 plus service charge and tax, and will be sold as part of a room or suite package with a limited number of ticket-only reservations available. Two tickets may be purchased per order. For more information visit www.encorelasvegas.com/beyonce.
Beyonce’s "I AM…" world tour marks the artist’s first full-length show since 2007’s sold-out "The Beyonce Experience." Beyonce will premiere live performances of songs from her latest international #1 chart-topping album, I AM…SASHA FIERCE. The album is Beyonce’s first new studio collection since her Grammy-winning, multi-platinum-selling B’DAY debuted at #1 on charts around the world shortly after its international release on September 4, 2006.
Thierry Mugler, world-renowned designer, is working as creative advisor and costume designer on Beyonce’s "I AM…" world tour. He has designed 71 new costumes for the event.
