Scoot mooted to fly in April
Singapore Airlines’ new low-cost, long-haul carrier is expected to launch in April next year with one Boeing 777-200 and expand to four planes in the first three months.
The new airline – tipped to be called Scoot Airlines – will operate 14 of the twin-aisle Boeing planes by the middle of 2016, according to the Straits Times.
The new airline is expected to fit each of its B777s with about 400 seats.
