‘Seaspray’, a magnificent two-masted eighty-three foot schooner of television fame, provides a stable and comfortable sail as she explores the crystal clear waters, beautiful beaches and lagoons of the Mamanucas.
Built in Glasgow, Scotland and launched in 1927, ‘Seaspray’ was the main feature on the 1960’s hit television show ‘Adventures of the Seaspray’.
Now the oldest floating vessel in Fiji, ‘Seaspray’ anchors off Modriki, the island featured in the Tom Hanks movie ‘Castaway’, where guests are free to go ashore and explore this uninhabited island with its magnificent beaches and go snorkelling.
The full day ‘Seaspray Day Sailing Adventure’ also includes a visit to a Fijian island village on Yanuya Island, where guests are welcomed ashore with a Kava Ceremony then have the chance to explore the village and meet the locals.
While on board ‘Seaspray’ guests are encouraged to help set the sails, take the helm or just laze around on deck. On board entertainment by the crew adds to this unique Fijian experience.
The all inclusive day cruise provides snorkelling gear, morning and afternoon tea,
a delicious barbecue lunch, and all drinks including beer, wine, soft drinks, tea and coffee throughout the day.
