Shanghai Disneyland visitors trapped in park after abrupt lockdown
Shanghai Disneyland has shut down due to China’s zero-Covid policy, with visitors stuck inside.
Park visitors can only leave with a negative test result.
Shanghai reported 10 locally transmitted cases at the weekend.
Videos posted on social media showed park guests rushing to leave but finding the gates already locked.
Anyone who has visited the park since October 27 must take three Covid tests over the next three days, local officials said.
No news has been given for when the park will likely reopen.
Ticket refunds will be given, Shanghai Disneyland said.
A sudden closure also occurred last year, trapping thousands of guests inside.
Some rides continued to run for people stuck in the park on Monday.
