Shangri-La opens new luxury hotel in Yiwu, China
Luxury hotel group Shangri-La has opened its latest mainland China hotel in Yiwu, Zhejiang province, a gateway for the new Silk Road.
The 362-room Shangri-La Hotel, Yiwu was unveiled in the 52-storey mixed-use Yiwu World Trade Centre, which is the tallest building in Zhejiang Province.
Hotel amenities include three restaurants, a spa, 3,880 square metres of event space, the Horizon Club Lounge, a gym and an indoor heated swimming pool.
It also houses 136 serviced apartments located from levels 9 to 38 of the mixed use building
Suites offer a minimum of 96 square metres of living space and look out over Yiwu River.
To mark the opening, an introductory offer is available from RMB888 through 3 September 2017 which includes daily breakfast buffet and a RMB200 credit.
The hotel is located a short journey from the International Expo Centre, airport and train station.
Shangri-La currently has 95 hotels open in 22 countries under the Shangri-La, Kerry, Hotel Jen and Traders brands, with further hotels in the pipeline for China, Saudi Arabia and across Asia.
