SME loyalty scheme launch by Silverjet
All-business class carrier Silverjet has introduced a free flights loyalty scheme aimed at companies.
‘The Silverjet Set’ rewards companies with a free flight for every 10 taken by employees.
The scheme also provides the means to book, track, report on, manage and change flight bookings.
Businesses that register will have a dedicated support team and regular travellers are able to build up and store individual profiles and preferences. Silverjet Set members will also have access to exclusive offers from the airline.
The scheme was launched after the airline canvassed small and medium sized enterprise customers to identify the most common complaints of existing loyalty scheme.
Rather than operating an accumulative points system which is assigned to the individual flyer, free flights are awarded to the business and can be taken by any employee.
More than half of its transatlantic passengers are flying for business purposes – a figure likely to be reflected on the airline’s new route to Dubai from Luton.
CEO Lawrence Hunt said: “Silverjet has huge appeal to businesses not only because of the private jet experience our service provides to their employees, but also because we can offer them enormous cost saving on flights.
“If a business switches to Silverjet from the likes of BA or Virgin for ten flights a year they can save more than £20k from their cost base and this number will increase significantly should more flights be required.
“We wanted to create a loyalty programme that rewards our regular business travellers whilst delivering real benefits to the bottom line.”
