South Africa based BlackBrick Aparthotels joins HotelREZ
South African brand BlackBrick Aparthotels has tapped HotelREZ to help drive strategic growth in both corporate and leisure markets.
The collaboration aims to also enhance the aparthotel group’s direct revenue ratio through improved distribution.
The partnership will enable BlackBrick Aparthotels to leverage HotelREZ’s global network of agency sales offices, and preferred partnerships with major TMCs and agency groups.
This ensures a balanced mix of corporate, leisure, and direct bookings with reduced OTA dependency.
The HotelREZ HO GDS chain code, which holds Tier 1 and Platinum preferred status globally, provides an optimised profile that boosts a hotel’s visibility across more than 750,000 travel agencies.
It also centrally manages availability, rates, inventory, and content across multiple channels, including GDS and OTAs.
Initially, the collaboration will launch with five properties: BlackBrick Bedfordview and BlackBrick Sandton 1 and 2 in Johannesburg, as well as BlackBrick Foreshore and BlackBrick Gardens in Cape Town.
BlackBrick Aparthotels will also feature as a new addition to the Best Loved Hotels consumer brand.
BlackBrick Aparthotels has $100 million in developments and 17 more locations in the pipeline.
The brand appeals to digital nomads, and travelers seeking unqiue accommodations with amenities such as boxing gyms, Pilates studios, rooftop bars, swimming pools, and coworking spaces.
Jonathan Liebmann, Co-Founder of BlackBrick Aparthotels, said: “HotelREZ’ reach allows us to stay independent while still plugging into a powerful distribution network, and community of like-minded properties, which is the perfect balance for our brand.”
All branded BlackBrick Aparthotels are now bookable on the GDS under HO Chain Code.
