Specialist drops fuel surcharges
Specialist operator Wings Abroad has followed Thomson and dropped all fuel surcharges.
No fuel surcharges will apply on any holidays, regardless of adverse fluctuations on fuel costs throughout the year, the company said.
The operator is also abolishing all booking amendment charges, like name changes and change of departure date. Full and part cancellations will continue to be treated as per booking conditions, a statement said.
UK sales manager Chris Mansell said: “As we enter our fourth year of operation we continue to demonstrate our commitment to agents and their clients by responding to consumer demands to cut out so called ‘hidden costs’.
“Wings Abroad have no other hidden extra costs – all our holiday pricing is clear and apparent on both viewdata and our agent bookable website: www.wingsabroad.co.uk.”
