Spirit Airlines adding more Cancun routes
Budget carrier Spirit Airlines will launch new routes to Cancun from Chicago O’Hare and Baltimore/Washington International this fall.
Flight reservations are now open for the new flights which begin on November 9.
"These new flights expand our presence in Cancun and bring our first international routes to Baltimore/Washington and Chicago. We are delighted to deliver this nonstop service to one of the most requested destinations in our network," said Spirit vice president of-network planning Mark Kopczak.
Spirit already connects Cancun with Dallas/Fort Worth, Detroit, Fort Lauderdale and Houston.
The new nonstop services expand Cancun flights to six daily.
"We welcome the announcement that Spirit Airlines will bring new international flight options and this service boosts the travel value for our passengers, while adding to the growth and success here at BWI Marshall Airport," said airport CEO Ricky Smith.
