STA joins campaign to promote UK music festivals
VisitBritain has teamed up with STA Travel to launch a campaign designed to bring visitors to the UK for its music festivals.
Aimed at the US, Germany, Australia, and New Zealand, the 10-week campaign will use imagery and videos of the festivals and surrounding destinations to inspire people to explore more of the regions.
The campaign kicks off this week, supported with a new content platform http://www.statravel.com/great-britain-inspiration.htm .
The digital and social media campaign heavily focuses on visual content, featuring a variety of #OMGB experiences from within the festivals, and the surrounding areas.
Agents are also encouraged to use these videos to help sell the destination to their younger clients ‘in a relevant way’.
