STA Travel names new US senior vice president
Student and youth travel specialist STA Travel has named Christine Sutton to lead the company’s strategy in the US market.
Sutton has been appointed as US senior vice president and oversees management and strategy for the US division.
She has been managing the US product and marketing teams since joining STA in the summer of 2015.
She has clocked up many years’ experience in the travel industry, beginning as a travel consultant at Austravel and spending 14 years in a variety of account management roles at Emirates, including leading the UK leisure team.
STA Travel was established nearly 40 years ago and operates more than 200 stores in 11 countries, organizing travel for about two million customers.
