Stansted summer recruitment drive offers 1,000 airport jobs

London Stansted is embarking on an airport jobs recruitment drive for summer.

It plans to recruit 1,000 new employees ahead of a busy summer season.

A job fair will be held at the Radisson Blu Hotel on February 7 to showcase almost 200 different job roles

These include airport security, customer service, engineering, and retail.

Firms looking for new talent include Ryanair, Titan Airways, Border Force, Jet2.com and National Express.

Stansted was one of the fastest recovering major airports in the UK from the pandemic.

Passenger numbers topped 90% of 2019 levels by summer 2022.

Nathan Mullane, Employment & Skills Manager, said: “We’re beginning the application process now to make sure we’re at full strength for the summer.”
