Star Clippers offering Ryder Cup add-on with Amalfi Coast sailings
Tall-ship sailing operator Star Clippers has a new package offering seven-night Amalfi Coast sailings with a premium experience at the Rome Ryder Cup in September 2023.
Star Clippers is offering on-course Champions Pavilion tickets for day one of the tournament which takes place at the Marco Simone Golf Club, one day before Star Clipper sets sail from Rome.
The sailing features Amalfi as well as Sicily, Sorrento and Ponza – the largest of the Italian Pontine Islands.
In the 10-night package, guests will experience a three-night pre cruise stay in Rome at the Marcella Royale Hotel, with Champions Pavilion tickets, seven-night sailing on board Star Clipper, return flights from London and non-UK transfers included.
Prices start from £4,939.
Star Clippers is represented in the UK by Fred. Olsen Travel.
The two smaller ships, Star Flyer and Star Clipper take 166 guests each, with a crew of 74, while Royal Clipper carries 227 with a crew of 106.
