Strict border rules force more Cathay Pacific flight cuts
Cathay Pacific will slash more Hong Kong flights during December due to the city’s restrictive travel curbs.
The harsh quarantine measures and travel restrictions have been among the strictest in the world.
Cathay blames ‘operational and travel restrictions that remain in place.’ The airline has previously cut flights because of the quarantine restrictions placed on pilots and cabin crew.
Last week more than 100 Cathay crew went into mandatory quarantine after three pilots breached rules and tested positive on an overseas layover.
