Swiss airline makes UK debut
Swiss airline SkyWork is making its debut in the UK market with the launch of direct flights from London City Airport to Bern.
Launching on March 27, the new flight will operate Sunday to Friday every evening, enabling passengers at both ends of the route a full business day.
From September 5, the frequency will double to two flights daily, Sunday to Friday.
The flight will operate using a Dornier 328 business turboprop aircraft, seating 31 passengers.
Fares are on sale now and lead in at start at £52 pounds each way.
SkyWork Airlines anticipates that 90% of its bookings will be made via its website.
“There is great prestige flying to London City Airport and we are determined to make a success of this route,” said CEO Tomislav Lang.
