The holiday gift of a cruise?
Here’s a new promotional idea for a cruise line: give it as a holiday gift.
Carnival Cruise Lines launched a new, multimillion-dollar TV and print campaign to promote the line’s Fun Ship vacations as holiday gifts.
The promotion mirrors recent consumer trends for guying unique gift items as holiday gifts, says Carnival President Bob Dickinson.
The Coral Gables-based Cooper DDB created the campaign, which will also involve newspaper ads.
Carnival is also offering travel agents tips on how to sell the “gifts.”
