The Palm Beaches unveils agent training portal

Tourism marketing organisation Discover The Palm Beaches has created a new resource for travel advisors to learn, sell and promote The Palm Beaches.

The Palm Beaches Travel Trade Portal is DTPB’s new online learning platform tailored specifically for travel advisors.

The free online tool is designed to help travel professionals better serve their clients while confidently promoting the destination.

This is achieved via modules covering history, geography, lodging, culinary delights, transportation options, events, tourist attractions, and more.

After completing all modules, a certification will be granted.

For the first 100 travel advisors who complete certification by 30 June 2024, one advisor will be selected at random for a chance to win a two-night stay for two people, including two round-trip airline tickets to The Palm Beaches.

Milton Segarra, president and CEO of DTPB said: “Travel advisors are tremendous ambassadors for our destination, and we’re hopeful they will find ‘The Palm Beaches Travel Trade Portal’ a valuable resource.”

“This training portal will save us approximately $200,000 over the next five years, and solidify the expertise of travel trade professionals.”

In addition, DTPB has announced its latest brand campaign – ‘The Palm Beaches Collection’.

The concept aims to spotlight the rich diversity of offerings available across the destination’s 39 cities and towns.

Travellers can now personalise their travel experience through an interactive quiz and an array of free tools.

The new campaign will be amplified through paid media, PR, social media, and new MarTech tactics.
