The world’s most luxurious first-class seats?
Emirates Airlines has launched what it is modestly calling the world’s most luxurious first-class seats. According to a report in the Daily Telegraph, the airline is offering the new “suites”, which include leather seats that convert into beds, on its Gatwick to Sydney route via Dubai. The newspaper reports that the suites have doors that can be locked for privacy, while passengers can make use of 19-inch video screens and order their in-flight meals whenever they want. Furthermore, the suites’ ceilings will be painted with images of the Dubai night sky, which the carrier claims will help passengers to readjust their own body clocks. The Telegraph reports that a first-class return ticket from London to Sydney, flying with Emirates, costs from £3,937plus tax.
