Thomas Cook dumps Cape Verde this summer
Thomas Cook has suspended its programme to Cape Verde this summer due to low demand.
It said the destination will be reintroduced in November as a winter option.
A spokesperson said: "We’ve stopped our Cape Verde flight for this summer due to low demand, and we’re very sorry for the inconvenience to our customers who have already booked.
"We are contacting everyone who has booked to Cape Verde between May and October to offer another of our great destinations. Our holidays to Cape Verde restart in November as scheduled."
Thomas Cook reintroduced Cape Verde as a winter destination in 2014 with charter flights from Gatwick and Manchester, and took it year round the following year.
It previously sold holidays to Boa Vista in Cape Verde in winter 2011 but the destination was later dropped.
