Thomson introduces Los Cabos for summer 2008

Thomson has introduced Los Cabos, Baja California, to its new Summer 2008 programme.

Thomsonfly will operate direct flights to the destination, located in the southernmost tip of Baja California.

Already popular with Americans and Canadians, it is expected to prove popular with couples and families with older children.

It will be featured in Thomson’s Faraway Shores 3rd edition brochure, on sale from April 26.

Thomson will initially offer two all-inclusive hotels in the region, the 5T Riu Santa Fe, due for completion late 2007, and the 5T Riu Palace Cabo St Lucas.

Thomsonfly will operate fortnightly flights from London Gatwick and Manchester. Prices start from £999 for 14 nights all-inclusive at the 5T Riu Santa Fe, based on two sharing and including return flights from Manchester on June 11 2008.

Thomson has also reintroduced Puerto Vallarta on Mexico’s Pacific coast for summer 2008.

Fortnightly flights operate from London Gatwick and Manchester, and prices start from £899 for 14 nights all-inclusive at the 5T ClubHotel Riu Jalisco, including return flights from Manchester on June 4 2008.
