Tickets direct firm ‘undercuts rival Disney prices’
Online ticket retailer Attraction Tickets Direct claims to be undercutting package operators to Walt Disney World in Florida by offering rooms for £21 a night.
The direct-sell firm has signed a deal with Walt Disney World Resorts to sell Disney hotels and dining plans via its website www.attractionticketsdirect.com.
The agreement enables users to build their own Disney holiday as the three components are now all available in one place.
ATD claims to be offering the most competitive prices in the UK – cheaper than booking the components in a package.
Four options for a Florida holiday are available:
- Ticket only. Disney tickets cost from £155 per adult
- Hotel only. Rooms start at £21 per adult per night with two free children up to 17 years
- Ticket and hotel
- Ticket, hotel and dining plan. Dining plans cost £22 per adult
A 14-day Ultimate Ticket giving unlimited access to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney MGM Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Disney’s Blizzard Beach costs £165 per adult and £145 per child aged three to nine.
Oliver Brendon, CEO of holding company ATD Travel Services, said: “ATD has worked with Disney since day one and has enjoyed a successful relationship as this credit proves.
“Our customers are very internet and price savvy so it is great to be able to offer them another element of their holiday at the competitive rate which ATD is known for.”
Disney Destinations International, UK & Ireland vie-president Jeff James said: “We are delighted to award this contract to Attraction Tickets Direct to sell Disney Hotels and dining plans and are confident that they will increase UK holidaymakers uptake of the product. We have worked with these guys for the past five years and have complete trust in ATD and faith in its ability to deliver results for our brand.”
