Tigerair celebrates 15 million milestone with flash sale
Tigerair Australia is celebrating its 15 millionth passenger milestone with a three-day sale this week, offering fares from only $15.00 one-way.
The sale period continues today and tomorrow from 3:00 pm AEST until midnight on four different routes each day.
A total of 1,500 seats will be offered at the discounted fare each day, the carrier said.
Sale fares are valid for travel on Tuesdays and Wednesdays on selected dates during 2015.
The price includes GST and fees but not the $8.50 booking and service fee charged for paying with a credit or debit card.
Vanessa Regan, head of Tigerair communications said surpassing 15 million passengers is a major milestone for the carrier which now serves 18 domestic routes.
"Wherever we fly we not only provide consistently great value fares, but also bring healthy competition to the market," Ms Regan said.
Tigerair Australia began flying domestic routes in November 2007.
