TIPTO appoints all female board
TIPTO has announced an all female board with the appointment of chairman Zena Calderbank and vice chairman Claire Dutton.
Calderbank, head of sales for Hoseasons, has been vice chairman of the Truly Independent Professional Travel Organisation for the last year, supporting Allan Lambert of Bourne Leisure who held the position of chair for two years.
Dutton is key account manager for Superbreak.
TIPTO, which was founded in 1998 by a group of independent operators wanting to work with independent agents, has plans to recruit more members especially cruise lines and specialist tour operators.
Calderbank also intends to improve the website, making it more interactive, and start a new series of workshops.
