Top five destinations booked in 2004
Las Vegas was ranked the number one domestic destination for the third consecutive year, announced Carlson Wagonlit Travel Associates.
When asked to forecast the five most popular US destinations for 2004 based on actual bookings to date, 82% of respondents cited Las Vegas.
It was followed by Orlando, Maui, Honolulu and New York City.
Other findings were that Washington, DC has made a substantial jump in popularity, tying with Fort Lauderdale at number 11.
