Tour de France celebrates a big year

Cycling fans preparing to follow this year’s Tour de France from June 29-July 21 will be able to take part in complementary events held in the cities and regions hosting the race.

An activity village to be held in Nice from June 29 to July 1, and the Ride on the Champs-Elysees are a couple of examples of how spectators and cyclists can enjoy the event.

The 100th Tour de France will start in Corsica and will pass such outstanding sites such as Albi Cathedral, Mont Saint-Michel and the Palace of Versailles on its way to Paris for the finish.

The highlights of the 100thTour de France:

March 27 – July 27: Tour exhibition at the French Senate

June 12: Release of the film "La Grande Boucle" in cinemas

June 15: Celebrating the Tour

June 29 and 30, July 1: Grand Start of the Tour on Corsica / Nice celebrates the Tour

July 21: The Tour Ride / Finish of the last stage on the Champs-Elysees at nightfall
