Transport Canada probing ‘maskless party’ flight
Canada’s Transport Minister Omar Alghabra has ordered regulator Transport Canada to investigate a ‘maskless party’ at 30,000 feet. Videos of the December 30 flight from Montreal to Cancun showed passengers without masks singing and dancing in the aisle.
A video appears to show a passenger vaping whle a bottle of vodka is passed around. The flight was a charter service operated by Sunwing.
Sunwing acknowledged passengers were ‘unruly and contravened several Canadian aviation regulations as well as public health regulations.’
