Travel Counsellors annual sales “up a third”
Travel Counsellors has claimed a 34% rise in total sales in the year ending October 31.
The independent homeworking group put the strong sales growth down in part to an “outstanding contribution” by its top agents.
Six of its top achieving ‘gold’ agents achieved more £1 million in sales for the company over the 12-month period.
Seventeen agents have reached ‘gold’ status for outstanding sales over the year in addition to 44 who retained the position.
Entry to ‘gold’ status was based on sales over a 12 month period. To qualify the company’s homeworking agents have to take £500,000 in bookings or £50,000 in commission. For telesales agents the targets are higher – £75,000 in commission or £750,000 worth of bookings.
Managing director Steve Byrne said: “Travel Counsellors continues to go from strength to strength and that is due to the dedication and hard work of not just our Gold Travel Counsellors, but all our agents.
“The fact that we have increased our sales by over a third in just 12 months is because all our agents share the same commitment to exceptional customer service.”
