Travel firms among fastest growing technology companies
Skyscanner has been recognised as one of Britain’s fastest growing travel technology companies, taking 21st place in the Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100.
Skyscanner was the highest ranked business in the travel industry, alongside Hostelbookers which took 62nd place and Cheapflights who came in at 100th.
The Sunday Times Tech Track 100 ranks Britain’s private technology, telecoms and digital media companies by their average sales growth over the last three years.
Skyscanner’s sales rose 87% a year from £1.4m in 2007 to £8.8m in 2010.
