Travelodge to recruit 1,000 UK staff
Travelodge is looking to fill 1,000 permanent positions before the end of the year.
The company needs 160 staff for the opening of six new hotels, in Finchley, Stockport, East Grinstead, Kings Lynn, Andover and Peterhead; 50 people at its head office in Thame, Oxfordshire, with roles ranging from digital marketing to PR and sales as well as 10 maintenance team members, including plumbers and electricians.
The remaining 705 positions are based in Travelodge hotels across the UK, with 75 positions for hotel manager and assistant manager roles, as well as reception and bar staff.
Travelodge has an new in-house management programme, called Aspire, which offers
three different routes into management.
