Trio of Amari Thailand hotels set for upgrades
Southeast Asia based ONYX Hospitality Group announced a major brand enhancement program for three of its key Amari properties in Thailand – Amari Don Muang Airport Bangkok, Amari Buriram, and Amari Phuket.
It aims to elevate guest experiences with updated rooms and facilities as well as new amenities.
Yuthachai Charanachitta, CEO of ONYX Hospitality Group, said: “We believe that continuously developing our hotel brands are key drivers of growth. This refurbishment initiative underscores our commitment to strengthening the Amari brand.”
Amari Don Muang Airport Bangkok is set to undergo a comprehensive upgrade, with improvements to the building structure, guestrooms, lobby, fitness centre, and dining outlets.
A key highlight of the renovation will be the launch of Prego Don Muang, part of the renowned Italian restaurant brand.
Amari Buriram will follow with a full-property transformation, which includes the opening of Prego Buriram.
Amari Phuket is preparing for a redesign aimed at delivering an elevated resort experience. The refurbishment will focus on creating larger, more comfortable guestrooms tailored to international leisure travellers with premium amenities.
Upgrades for Amari Don Muang and Amari Buriram are scheduled from mid-2025 to mid-2026, while the transformation of Amari Phuket is slated to begin in 2027.
