TSA now offers wait times
How long will you have to wait to clear security at a US airport?
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is now offering that information through its Web site. A form asks for the point of departure, with estimated wait times then relayed on to the user.
The wait times are admittedly estimates. They are based on historical information, so the TSA says they will vary depending on other factors including weather delays.
Questions about the new service can be answered at the TSA Contact Center line, 866-289-9673.
